The Skip Interview feature allows recruiters to move an applicant past a configured interview stage without scheduling or recording an interview in ATS360. This is useful when an interview has already occurred outside the system or when business circumstances require bypassing a stage.

• Allow applicants to advance without creating unnecessary records

3. Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1: Confirm Skip Is Appropriate

Use Skip Interview when:

• An interview was conducted outside ATS360
• The applicant is being fast-tracked
• A stage is not required for this candidate

Best Practice

• Ensure stakeholders are aligned before skipping stages

Step 2: Skip the Interview Stage

1. Open the applicant’s Job Application
2. Confirm the applicant is in an Interview stage
3. Click Skip Interview Step

Step 3: System Advances the Applicant

Once selected:

• The current interview stage is marked complete
• The interview progress bar advances
• No interview event or feedback form is created

Step 4: Continue the Interview Workflow

Depending on configuration:

• The applicant moves to the next interview stage, or
• The applicant becomes eligible for Approval or Offer
