America's #1 Arch Support® brand, Good Feet is a manufacturer and retailer of arch supports, foot pain relief & foot comfort products and cushions. Comprising over 150 individually owned and operated stores across the world, they offer a wide range of 300+ styles, flexibilities, and sizes.
The Challenge
Good Feet's NetSuite implementation brought about a series of inventory tracking issues and product pricing inconsistencies. This resulted in incorrect price calculations for products and involved manually validating inventory items purchased by franchisees and their respective pricing.
The Solution
On careful analysis of Good Feet's business processes and NetSuite implementation gaps, the team of NetSuite specialists at NetDynamic advised on the implementation of the NetSuite Advanced Inventory Module. The pricing levels and discounts were appropriately fed inside NetSuite. A custom franchise portal was built for the franchisees to log their purchase requirements and make payments, which was eventually transmitted back into NetSuite. The product pricing was thereby automated and all inventory and purchase information was directly routed to the company's headquarters for accurate financial reporting.
The Results
The implementation and customization of NetSuite's Advanced Inventory Module eliminated the tedious, manual price and inventory verification process for Good Feet. This resulted in timely and accurate financial reporting and month-end close. Inventory visibility and real-time consolidation across franchisees also witnessed a major surge.
